Perimenopause is the transition leading up to menopause. It's a time when hormones fluctuate, sometimes wildly, your nervous system becomes more sensitive, and the strategies you've relied on for years quietly stop working the way they used to.

For most women, this begins in their late 30s or early 40s. Long before anyone names it as perimenopause.

You might be noticing:

  • Brain fog that makes simple tasks feel harder, or words/names slip away
    • Sudden anxiety, irritability, or “ragey” moments that feel out of character
    • Falling asleep easily but waking up wired at 2–3am

    These shifts are incredibly common in early perimenopause. Most women are never told they're hormonal.
